The separation soon entered a Los Angeles courtroom. Emberg filed a $25 million palimony claim, arguing that an agreement entitled her to half the assets accumulated during their relationship, including properties in Holmby Hills and Epping, England.
In June 1992, Judge David Horowitz dismissed the case, finding no merit in the claim that Stewart had promised to support Emberg for life. Stewart had already married his next wife by then.

Emberg eventually built a different kind of enterprise. She now describes herself on Instagram as the founder and CEO of sun-protection sportswear company BESO Shade, as well as an enthusiastic gardener and pickleball player.

Rachel Hunter and a Proposal Over Tuna Sandwiches
Rachel Hunter was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on September 8, 1969. An illness ended her childhood plans to become a ballet dancer, but modeling carried her from New Zealand to international magazine covers and eventually into acting.
Hunter was 21 when she met Stewart, who was 24 years older, in Los Angeles. During a 1996 television interview, she confirmed that he proposed only three weeks after they met, and that he did it over tuna fish sandwiches.

They married in Beverly Hills on December 15, 1990, three months into their romance. Their children, Renée Stewart and Liam Stewart, arrived in 1992 and 1994.
