How to clean dirty pots and pans naturally

Citric acid is particularly effective against burnt residues and mineral deposits.

Method 1: Boiling

  • Fill the pot with water until it covers the sales area.
  • Add   1 to 2 tablespoons of citric acid  .
  • Boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly, then scrub and rinse.

Method 2: Glue

  • Mix citric acid with a little water.
  • Apply to burned surface.
  • Leave to rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Rub and rinse.

Excellent for stainless steel and very burnt casseroles.

Precautions:

  • Don’t use   not   citric acid on regular aluminum cookware — this may discolor them.
  • Avoid metal sponges on non-stick surfaces.
  • Never mix citric acid with bleach or chlorine-based cleaners (dangerous).
  • Test any method on a small area first.
  • Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin.

Using these natural methods, even the best-selling casseroles can be cleaned safely and effectively, without the need for harsh chemicals.
